The Home Visit or Lab
Your phlebotomist arrives in the 2-hour window you selected. The blood draw takes just 5–10 minutes — the same as a routine blood test at any clinic. Or visit a partner collection centre near you.
Sample Transport
Your sample is sealed and transported via temperature-controlled courier to our CLIA-certified laboratory within hours of collection — maintaining integrity for the most accurate results.
Receive Your Results
Within 24 hours, you’ll receive a secure notification with your full digital report in your patient portal. If results require attention, a care coordinator will contact you directly.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need a doctor's prescription to book?
Not always. You can book most MoleculeDx panels as a self-test. For tests that require medical authorization, you can choose a doctor from our network or add your own physician’s details during booking.
What are my sample collection options?
You can choose between (a) visiting a partner phlebotomy centre near you, or (b) home sample collection. With home collection, PortaMedic or Travalab send trained professionals to your home, collect the sample, and transport it via UPS Healthcare to a MoleculeDx lab.
How long does it take to receive my results?
Most Fusion-detect™ reports are delivered within 24 hours from the date the lab receives your sample. Specific turnaround times are shown on your booking confirmation.
How will I get my results?
Your final report is sent securely to your registered email and is also available in your MoleculeDx patient portal. You can download the report, view your booking history, and share it with your doctor.
How should I prepare for the test?
Most MoleculeDx tests do not require special preparation — no fasting needed. Where specific prep is required, you’ll receive clear instructions by email at the time of booking and again the day before your appointment.
Is my personal and medical data kept private?
Yes. Your data is encrypted, access-controlled, and stored in compliance with HIPAA and applicable health data privacy laws. Your report is shared only with you and, if you opted for doctor referral, with the doctor you selected.
Can I cancel or reschedule my booking?
Yes. Bookings can be rescheduled or cancelled from the patient portal up to a defined cut-off before the scheduled collection slot. Cancellation policies and any applicable refund are shown at the time of booking.
Will my insurance cover the cost?
Insurance coverage depends on your individual policy. MoleculeDx provides a clinically detailed invoice that you can submit to your insurer for reimbursement where applicable. Please check with your insurer before booking.
